Cornerstone was founded through hearing the voice of God spoken to the heart of Rev. Uk Ling Thang and his wife Nu Zing to be the light of Christ in Myanmar and in the world.

There were only eight people in the first meeting. They first met in small rent house that  can accommodate only ten people at No. 540(A) Yuzana Street, 9 Ward, Shwepyithar, Yangon, Myanmar.

Disciples increased eight people to 30 people after one month and because the the first house was too small to accommodate all of them,   a temporary house, seating around 50, was rented at No. 261, Maha Bandula Road, 9 Ward, Shwepyithar, Yangon.

Disciples increased again from 30 to 67 after one year and Land for Church at No. 289, Yadana 3 Road, 8 Ward, Shwepyithar, Yangon, Myanmar was bought and built that can accommodate 150-200 seats in 2018.

From small beginning into great impact, Cornerstone continues to Go, Share and Equip to make disciples of all nations.

ပထမအကြိမ်တွေ့ဆုံမှုတွင်လူရှစ်ဦးသာရှိခဲ့သည်။အမှတ် 540(A)ယုဇနလမ်း၊ ၉ ရပ်ကွက်၊ ရွှေပြည်သာ၊ ရန်ကုန်၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် 
လူဆယ်ဦးသာရှိခိုးနိုင်သည့်အငှားအိမ်ငယ်လေးတွင်ပထမဆုံးတွေ့ဆုံခဲ့ကြသည်။
တစ်နှစ်အကြာတွင် တပည့် ၃၀ မှ ၆၇ ဦး ထပ်မံတိုးလာပြီး အမှတ် ၂၈၉၊ ရတနာပုံ ၃ လမ်း၊ ၈ ရပ်ကွက်၊ ရွှေပြည်သာ၊ 
ရန်ကုန်၊ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင် ဘုရားကျောင်းမြေကွက်ကို ၂၀၁၈ ခုနှစ်တွင် ထိုင်ခုံ ၁၅၀ မှ ၂၀၀ အထိ ဆံ့အောင် ဆောက်လုပ်ခဲ့သည်။
